Renew Nevada is an organization dedicated to examining the question, "How will renewable energy affect rural Nevada"? We believe renewable energy holds great promise for Nevada and is going to be an important part of economic recovery and long term prosperity.

Renew Nevada's mission is to help folks in rural Nevada understand what renewable energy will mean to them, not only in terms of economics, job creation and revenues for local government, but also with regard to concerns about the long term affects to rural Nevada

Renewable energy is no magic bullet. There are concerns. Issues like wildlife and the protection of wildlife habitat and how energy developments could affect other local interests, all of these things are going to be in the mix and it's going to be up to local people to get involved. But to be involved, people need information, people need to have facts.

Renew Nevada was set up to help provide that information and to help rural Nevada understand how renewable energy can benefit them in the 21st century.
